Fitness Quest Physical Therapy Announces Promotion of Dr. Patrick De Armas, DPT to Clinic Director of North Port Clinic
NORTH PORT, FL – May, 2025 – Fitness Quest Physical Therapy is pleased to announce the promotion of Dr. Patrick De Armas, PT, DPT, to Clinic Director of their North Port location. This promotion recognizes Dr. De Armas’s dedication, clinical expertise, and commitment to patient care since joining the Fitness Quest team.
Dr. De Armas has been an integral part of the North Port clinic, serving as a staff Physical Therapist since February 2023. His journey with Fitness Quest began earlier, as a student under the mentorship of Dr. Jason Bach-Randolph, DPT, at the Punta Gorda clinic.
A passionate learner, Dr. De Armas recently earned his dry needling certification, further expanding his skill set to benefit his patients. He is also actively working towards his Manual Therapy Certification (MTC) from the University of St. Augustine, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to professional development in areas such as orthopedics and manual therapy.
Dr. De Armas is a graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in 2018. He then went on to receive his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences (Miami Campus) in 2022.

In his new role, Dr. De Armas will report to Dr. Reid Lawson, DPT, with continued support from Dr. Porter and the wider Fitness Quest leadership team.
